Setting the scene for a century of creativity

For Young & Rubicam’s 100-year celebration, I designed an invitation suite for the Brisbane office that captured the glamour and playful spirit of a 1920s speakeasy.

I created hand-painted watercolour illustrations inspired by the fashion and movement of the era, pairing dancing figures and champagne coupes with elegant typography and Art Deco details. From the save the date to the invitation and club membership cards, each piece helped bring the occasion to life.

This project brought together my love of illustration and design, using the character of something handmade to create a sense of anticipation. A century of creativity, celebrated with a little theatre.
